Workshop 2: Pilates and the Swissball (Beginner, intermediate and advanced levels)

Add new interest and more of a challenge to your Pilates classes incorporating the Swissball. Working from beginner level through to advanced, this 8-hour workshop will teach you a whole range of new exercises to improve core strength and proprioception. The body responds to the instability of the ball to remain balanced, engaging many different muscles simultaneously. Develop an ability to identify weaknesses in the body and use a variety of Pilates-inspired exercises on the ball to remedy those weaknesses and enhance strengths. For fully comprehensive Matwork and Equipment Training Level 4 certification, students must have attended the Pilates and the Swissball Workshop.
